After a long legal rigmarole it was today that Diana and I took possession of Ruston House and all the ground that goes with it. We are looking forward to working with the cottage owners, hoping that we will be able to work well together.
Probably, the one thing that worries me are anglers. As a Broads sailor and "Ditch Crawler" (as some disparagingly call those who enjoy travelling the canals of England) I confess I don't understand fishing and all that goes with it.
As I toured the grounds I couldn't help feeling that the weather today had about as much of the warm cheery smile that I expect to see on the typical angler's face.
